NOTE - App doesn’t only mean cellphone/tablet apps. Give the user hte ability to ignore notifications w/o affecting the rest of the application’s UI. Kinda like how people listen to voicemail not to actually listen to messages, but to get rid of the annoying notification icon. Google’s approach of “Don’t let technology get in the way” is really spot on.

Insomnia
For the past 3 days I’ve been getting 4 hours or less of sleep per night. Tonight I haven’t fallen asleep yet, and I have to drive 3 hours to catch a flight, very soon. I’m not sure as to what is the cause of my troubles falling asleep, it’s not like I’m up thinking about things, or pondering the machinations of the universe. I should really try that melatonin ish.
